Tickets
Tickets are sold (to Finland and abroad) in Tiketti and in Lippupalvelu. Please note that you can acccess the festival site with your ticket only once a day, and you need it to get inside every day, so take a good care of your ticket!
How to get there?
The festival area is located at Hakunila Sports Centre in Vantaa City. Vantaa is Helsinki’s neighbour town, so the distance from Helsinki isn’t very long. The best way to get to Hakunila from Helsinki is to use the public transport. All information concerning public transport (timetables, maps, fares, line numbers etc.) can be found at the web address: www.hsl.fi
You can also use the festivalbus, which will drive between Tikkurila railway station (the nearest commuter train station to Hakunila) and the festival site.
Festivalbus
A chargeable festivalbus will drive between Tikkurila railway station and festival area for the price of 5 euros per direction. First bus from Tikkurila will depart about an hour before festival begins, and last bus from festival area will depart about an hour after festival has ended. The buses drive non-stop on every festival day without an accurate schedule.

The whole MTR 2010 Line up can be found here. Also accurate timetables will be updated there closer to the festival weekend.
Accommodation
Options for overnight-accommodation are either the Rastila Camping Site or Hotel Rantasipi Airport. By clicking the links above you will find all the information needed (prices, locations etc.) about Rastila Camping or Hotel Rantasipi Airport. There's also a discount to the hotel, mention the code "MTR" when making your reservation, and you'll get your room for a price of 65 euros/room/night. (The code is valid for bookings to time period 18.6.-20.6.2010)
Remember also that there will be a chargeable festivalbus (similar to that mentioned above) driving between Rastila camping site and festival area couple times each day.
Parking
There is a supervised parking space right beside the festival site. Parking fee is 5€ per car, and you have to pay it when you drive to the parking area. Police will fine cars parked to forbidden places during the festival.
Taxi
There will be a temporary taxistand beside the festival area.
Luggage deposit
The luggage deposit of the festival site is situated by the Entrance gate. The deposit fee is 2€, and every time you want to take/put something from/to your luggage during the day the cost is 1€. Luggage deposit opens and closes alike the entrance gate.
Cash dispensers & bankcards
Nearest cash dispensers are situated in Hakunila shopping center (about 700 metres from the Entrance gate) and in S-Market on Kannuskuja (about 600 metres from the festival area). Most debit and credit cards are also accepted in the festival area (in bar, ticket stand and merchandise shop).
First Aid
There will be a First-aid tent at the festival area. The tent will provide medical and First-aid services.
Lost and found
All found property is taken to Suomen Löytötavarapiste in Kamppi, Helsinki (Lost & found property office) a week after the festival.
Age limits
There is no age limit to the festival. Yet there is a bar area in the festival site, which is not allowed for people under 18 years.
Pets
Bringing any kind of pets to the festival site is forbidden.
Recording
Taking photos is allowed on the festival site, but illegal audio and video recording of the performances is strictly forbidden. Bringing any kind of recorders and video-cameras to the festival site is forbidden.
Safety
It is forbidden to bring any kind of weapons and/or dangerous objects to the festival site! The security personnel have a right, guaranteed by the Finnish law, to examine festival goers and take all objects away which they consider dangerous.
It is forbidden to bring alcoholic drinks to the festival area! This is a common rule in almost every big rock event in Finland. It is also forbidden to bring any kind of glassware or tin cans to the festival area, but unopened plastic bottles and/or cardboard drink packages are allowed, UNLESS they contain alcohol. Remember to follow the advice given by the security personnel in any situation!
